  At what age can EverFix Plus i-Size be used?

  EverFix Plus i-Size can be used from approx. 15 months up to 12 years old (76 – 150 cm). The harness can be used up to 105 cm (approx. 4 years), and after this you can switch to using the car's seat belt.

  Can I fit EverFix Plus i-Size in a rear-facing position?

  No, EverFix Plus i-Size is a forward-facing car seat only.

  Can I fit EverFix Plus i-Size without the ISOFIX attachment point?

  For children up to 4 years old (76 – 105 cm) secured with the harness, it must be fitted using ISOFIX anchorages and the top tether. From the age of 4 to 12 years (100 – 150 cm) secured in the seat with the car seat belt, the ISOFIX anchorages are optional. We recommend using the ISOFIX installation method, as this makes the seat more stable. For example, when driving around a roundabout, the seat and the child will stay in place and not move.

  Can I fit EverFix Plus i-Size without the top tether?

  For children up to 4 years old (76 – 105 cm) secured with the harness, it must be fitted using ISOFIX anchorages and the top tether. From children from 4 up to 12 years old (100 – 150 cm) secured with the car seat belt, the top tether is optional.

  Should I remove the harness for a child taller than 105 cm/older than approx. 4 years?

  Never remove the harness from the seat. Store it in the back of the seat when your child reaches 105 cm (approx. 4 years old).

  When should I store away the harness?

  The harness is used up to 105 cm (approx. 4 years old/maximum of 18 kg) and must be stored away once your child reaches this height. The car's seat belt should be used from the age of 4 years onwards.

  Where can I store my harness?

  The harness can be stored away behind the cover at the back of the seat. See the user manual for more information.

  Where can I store the buckle?

  The buckle can be stored behind the cover of the seating area. See the user manual for more information.

  What do I do if my Bebeconfort product needs to be repaired?

  If your Bebeconfort product fails due to a manufacturing or workmanship defect, we will either send you a replacement part or make a repair free of charge under our 24-month warranty or Lifetime Warranty. This also covers the cost of shipping. If the product cannot be repaired, or if the cost of repairing the item exceeds the cost of a new one, it will be replaced by another Bebeconfort of the same model and colour.

   

  If that is not available, it will be replaced by the closest model and available colour. If you made your purchase from a Bebeconfort authorized dealer, please take the item back to them to arrange for it to be repaired or replaced free of charge. If you bought it via this website, please get in touch with our customer care team. You’ll need your original purchase receipt and your Lifetime Warranty card if you are claiming under our Lifetime Warranty. If you are claiming under our 24-month warranty, you’ll need your original purchase receipt. Please note that repairs do not extend the warranty.

  What if I need a repair that is not covered under warranty?

  Repairs not covered under warranty include any damage caused by normal wear and tear, accidental damage, malicious damage, negligence, or if you do not follow the guidance set out in the user manual. If you bought the item second-hand you are also unable to claim under warranty.

   

  We’re committed to reducing waste and we want you to enjoy your Bebeconfort product for as long as possible. That’s why we offer a repairs service for all our customers. We keep repair costs as low as possible, but prices will vary due to the cost of the materials and the length of time it takes to do the repair. Repair rates can be obtained via your retailer or from our customer care team here. If the repair exceeds the standard rate you will be notified and asked for your authorization before we’ll proceed. We also sell spare parts, including replacement seat covers, which can help you to enjoy using your Bebeconfort product for as long as possible.

  How do I send my Bebeconfort in for repair?

  It’s easy to send your Bebeconfort for a repair. If you bought it from an authorized dealer, take it back to them. If you bought it via this website, please get in touch with our customer care team.. Remember, if you are claiming the repair under our 24-month warranty, you’ll need to show proof of purchase. If you are claiming it under our Lifetime Warranty, you’ll need proof of purchase and your Lifetime Warranty card, which was sent to you after registration.   How long will my repair take?

  We understand that life without your Bebeconfort product could be challenging for you and your family. That’s why we do our best to make repairs as quickly as possible. Our typical turnaround time is 2-3 business days, not including: – Special order parts, which require 7-10 business days. – Transit time, which may vary, depending on the destination. In some cases, we can get the repair back to you sooner. In rare cases, it may take longer. If you have returned your Bebeconfort product to your retailer for the repair, turnaround times may be longer.

  What is the warranty on my Bebeconfort product?

  Our 24 months warranty reflects our confidence in the high quality of our design, engineering, production and product performance. We confirm that this product was manufactured in accordance with the current European safety requirements and quality standards which are applicable to this product, and that this product is free from defects on materials and workmanship at the time of purchase. Under the conditions mentioned herein, this warranty may be invoked by consumers in the countries where this product has been sold by a subsidiary of the Dorel Group or by an authorized dealer or retailer.

  Our 24 months warranty covers all manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship when used in normal conditions and in accordance with our user manual for a period of 24 months from the date of the original retail purchase by the first end-user customer. To request repairs or spare parts under our warranty for defects in materials and workmanship you must present your proof of purchase, made within the 24 months preceding the service request. Our 24 months warranty does not apply to defects caused by normal wear and tear, damage caused by accidents, abusive use, negligence, fire, liquid contact or other external cause, damage which is the consequence of failing to comply with the user manual, damage caused by use with another product, damage caused by service by anyone who is not authorized by us, or if the product is stolen or if any label or identification number has been removed from the product or has been changed.

   

  Examples of normal wear and tear include wheels and fabric worn down by regular use and the natural breakdown of colors and materials due to normal aging of the product.

  What to do in case of defects:

  Should problems or defects arise, your first point of contact is the authorized dealer or retailer recognized by us. Our 24 months warranty is recognized by them(1). You must present your proof of purchase, made within the 24 months preceding the service request. It is easiest if you get your service request pre-approved by us. If you submit a valid claim under this warranty, we may request that you return your product to the authorized dealer or retailer recognized by us or that you ship the product to us in accordance with our instructions. We will pay for shipment and for return freight if all instructions are followed.

   

  Damage and/or defects neither covered by our warranty nor by the legal rights of the consumer and/or damage and/or defects with respect to products that are not covered by our warranty can be handled at a reasonable fee. (1) Products purchased from retailers or dealers that remove or change labels or identification numbers are considered unauthorized. Products purchased from unauthorized retailers are also considered unauthorized. No warranty applies to these products since the authenticity of these products cannot be ascertained.

  Rights of the consumer:

  A consumer has legal rights pursuant to applicable consumer legislation, which may vary from country to country. The rights of the consumer under applicable national legislation are not affected by this warranty.
